Our Half Marathon finishers receive a custom “finisher’s medal” at the finish line. 10k runners do not. 

Yes, can absolutely transfer your bib to another runner. To process the transfer, just follow THESE STEPS.

That link will walk you through the quick process of transferring your registration to the new participant. Once completed, they’ll receive an email to accept the transfer and finalize the switch.

You have 3.5 hours to finish our half marathon course, and 2 hours to finish our 10k course. Slower runners or more novice runners should consider the 10k if course cut-off times are of concern.

Unfortunately, strollers are NOT allowed on either the 10k or the half marathon at the Narragansett Summer Running Festival. 

Yes, spectators, friends and family are welcome to accompany their runner in the beer garden and post-race festivities. That being said, due to permit limitations, post-race food and beverage are for runners only. Post-race beer and lunch options are for runners only. 

We allow runners to transfer their race distance at any time. Directions on how to do so are available HERE.

We do not offer refunds for race registrations. Like most road races, we incur significant costs well before race day like venue rental, permits, medals, shirts, food, beverages, and more… all of which are ordered months in advance based on registration numbers. Because these expenses are fixed and paid ahead of time, we’re unable to issue refunds once a runner signs up.

That said, you do have a few options:

✔ If you purchased registration insurance
during sign-up:

You may be eligible to file a claim directly with the insurance provider, depending on the circumstances covered by the policy. Click HERE for instructions on how to file a claim.

✔ You may transfer your bib
Runners are welcome to transfer their bib to another participant at no additional cost. Instructions for how to do that are available HERE.
